The 2015 North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) Top Prospects Tournament, presented by Easton, begins on Monday, Feb. 23, at the Ann Arbor Ice Cube in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

Six members of the U18 Esmark Stars were selected to participate in the two-day tournament, which will feature 80 total players from the NAPHL's 16 member teams.

Esmark Stars selected for participation in the 2015 Top Prospects event, include: Adam Alavi, forward; Brian Dee, forward; Carter Ekberg, defenseman; David Polinski, forward; Scott Trellis, goaltender; and Brendon Zack, defenseman.

Participants will be spread amongst four teams that represent the four regions in the NAPHL (Central, East, Great Lakes and West) and will each play three games during the showcase event.  The six Esmark Stars will all participate on the East team.

Each team consists of a 20-man roster (12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goalies) as selected by the NAPHL Top Prospects Tournament Selection Committee.

This season, for the first time, the 2015 NAPHL Top Prospects Tournament will be played in conjunction with the North American Hockey League's (NAHL) Top Prospects Tournament and the North American 3 Hockey League's (NA3HL) Top Prospects Tournament.

The event has quickly become one of the most highly-scouted events of its kind, with hundreds of junior, NCAA and NHL scouts and representatives expected in attendance this season.  With all three leagues under the NAHL umbrella showcasing their top prospects, it will make for an exciting week of hockey and provides a great opportunity for scouts and coaches alike to get a close look at many of the top talents in the three leagues.
