Will Skate for Wenatchee Wild

The Esmark Stars, proud members of the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL), are pleased to announce that 18U forward Adam Alavi has signed an NAHL tender agreement with the Wenatchee Wild.  The Wild compete in the NAHL’s South Division.

Alavi, 18, has played in the NAPHL for the past three seasons and the past two years for the 18U Stars team.  He just wrapped up the 2014-15 NAPHL regular season, which statistically was his best as the native of McMurray, PA, scored 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists) in just 18 league games played.

During the last NAPHL regular season event, which was just completed in Troy, Alavi racked up six points (all assists) as the Stars went 4-1. He also played in the inaugural 2015 NAPHL All-Star Game for Team Blue.

Alavi (6’0" and 180 lbs.) helped the Stars to a regular season tie for 2nd place in the 18U Division this season with 38 points.

In 64 career NAPHL regular season games, Alavi has 82 points. He was one of the standout players during the 2014 NAPHL Top Prospects Tournament as he recorded six points in the four games played.

Alavi is the second player from the Esmark Stars to sign an NAHL tender this season, joining teammate Carter Ekberg (Janesville Jets).
